He earned his M.M. in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
He has performed with artists such as Ziggy Marley, Natalie Cole, Devotchka, The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Big Gigantic, Strgin Cheese Incident, Opio, Flobots, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Motet and the USAF Falconaires. Serafin’s teaching background is as a full time and adjunct instructor in saxophone and audio production for higher ED, K12 and nonprofit institutions.
