SAE Institute Bogotá is the first SAE Campus in South America. At its opening we’ll offer courses in Audio Production, Electronic Music Production, and Music Business. Ableton Live will initially be taught in two programs: Electronic Music Production and the Ableton Live Course.
Electronic Music Production is a part-time, professional certificate program for individuals seeking to make, produce, mix, or remix music, using primarily computers, sequencers, DAWs, and synthesizers. Ableton Live is one of the principal blocks of this curriculum, due to its popularity amongst electronic musicians.
SAE Institute's Ableton Live Course explores all of Ableton Live's features in detail, allowing our students to explore their creativity by manipulating, designing, and mixing sounds. This course is three months long (72 hour) and designed to prepare students in all aspects of music creativity; from music production to sound design, remixing, live set creation, and DJing.
The SAE Institute Bogotá facilities feature 20 Ableton Live workstations, all equipped with a variety of controllers and Ableton Live Suite. Our students receive classroom instruction, hands-on training, and lab time to develop their projects.
