New in Live 10: Curated Collections

For the release of Live 10, we created six Packs based on specific sonic themes. Rather than focusing on genres, the Curated Collections capture the musical threads that tie together evolving styles and scenes.

The sounds in these Packs were designed with the specific intent to stand the test of time, even as musical styles evolve. The Curated Collections were made in collaboration with professional sound designers and artists. All the sounds can be immediately dropped into a production, but feature a wealth of sound-shaping options for turning them into something completely new.

Chop and Swing

Chop and Swing is an homage to the style that made sampling an art form. The included recordings and professional presets are designed to be cut up and re-combined into fresh new tracks. Included with all editions of Ableton Live.

Skitter and Step

Skitter and Step features growling basses, rinsing pads and shifting breaks – a dubby aesthetic designed for deep sound manipulation. Included with Ableton Live Standard and Suite.

Drive and Glow

Drive and Glow combines Classic synth-pop basslines, dreamy pads, keys, and drums that radiate with saturated, indie vibes. Included with Ableton Live Suite.

Punch and Tilt

Punch and Tilt focuses on machine rhythms, weighty bass and dark, hypnotizing synths – a rough sonic aesthetic that has grown into a worldwide scene. Included with Ableton Live Suite.

Glitch and Wash

Glitch and Wash combines jagged electronic noise and microscopic snippets of sound with warm ambient pads, textures and soundscapes. Included with Ableton Live Suite.

Build and Drop

Build and Drop is a creative toolbox for creating the irresistible anticipation and release of popular dance music. Included with Ableton Live Suite.
